Jonathan Goff
President
Jonathan is a 13-year veteran of Gelest, most recently serving as Chief Technology Officer. Having focused on technology, new product development, market introductions, and growing customer relationships throughout his career, Jonathan is ideally suited to lead Gelest in its core mission of providing cutting-edge chemical technology, products, and services. Dr. Goff holds a Ph.D. in Macromolecular Science and Engineering from Virginia Tech and has over 60 patents and technical publications.
Edward Kimble
Executive VP
Ed is responsible for the Business Unit, Product Management, Customer Service, and Sales groups. A 20-year veteran of Gelest, Kimble previously served as Applications and Polymer Development Manager as well as Production Chemical Group Supervisor. He is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University.
Teruyuki Mitsumori
Executive VP
Teruyuki has 28 years of experience in R&D and business field in Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (MCC). Prior to joining Gelest in 2021, he was a general manager of Imaging Materials Department in MCC. His responsibly in Gelest is to boost post-merger integration, including creating new synergies. He holds a master’s degree of Science in Chemistry from the University of Tokyo and has numerous patents and technical articles. He also worked as a visiting scholar in Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry of University of California Los Angeles for 2 years.
Neville Lockwood
SVP, Operations
As Senior Vice President, Nev is responsible for Manufacturing Operations at Gelest, including safety, production, and supply chain. He has over 25 years of experience in specialty chemical manufacturing operations, maintenance, and projects as well as being an Operational Excellence subject matter expert. Prior to joining Gelest in 2022, Nev held key positions with ICI, Dupont, BASF and Albemarle. Nev has a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Churchill College, Cambridge University.
Carl Shervin
VP, Operations - Glen Rock
Carl is responsible for Operations of the Bimax Glen Rock site. He has over 40 years of experience in Research & Development, Marketing and Sales management, Strategic Planning, and Quality Management. Prior to joining Bimax in 2008 as General Manager, he was the Commercial Manager for Specialty Monomers at Lubrizol. Prior to that, he held various business and technical roles at Rohm and Haas. He has spent his entire career working with acrylic monomers and polymers. Carl holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from LaSalle University.
Jen Predmore
VP, Human Resources
Jen is responsible for overseeing the Human Resources function for Gelest and its subsidiaries. She joined Gelest in 2015 and is a 20-year veteran generalist in the profession with a history of progressive professional growth. Jen began her career as a generalist in the microelectronics manufacturing industry, followed by a lengthy career as a department of “one” with a foreign based microelectronics contract manufacturer leading their US and expatriate HR functions, to her current position as VP of HR at Gelest. Jen graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from Temple University and her MBA from LaSalle University. She maintains her SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications.
Tom Moor
VP, Finance
Tom joined Gelest with over 25 of strategy, finance, and accounting experience in the chemicals industry. Most recently, Tom worked at the Mitsubishi Chemicals Group Engineering Shapes & Solutions business based in Reading, PA where he was the Finance Director of the Americas Region. Previous to his position with MCG, Tom was a global finance leader at Arkema’s Sartomer business unit, and its US PMMA and Methacrylics division. Tom has his Accounting Degree from Temple University and MBA in Finance from Villanova University.
Santy Sulaiman
VP, Research & Development
Santy is responsible for promoting research initiatives, fostering customer relationships, and supporting operational efficiencies. Santy joined Gelest in 2012 and oversees the Silanes/Metal Organics, Polymer Development, and Acrylates groups, as well as Technical Services & Applications, Research Engineering, and Quality Control. She received her Ph.D. in Macromolecular Science & Engineering from the University of Michigan and has published numerous patents and technical articles.
David Gibala
VP/General Manager, Industrial Specialties & Microelectronics
David is responsible for commercial operations supporting a broad range of markets including CASE (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, & Elastomers), Microelectronics & Semiconductor, CPI (Chemical Process Industry), and Distribution. He has nearly 30 years in roles ranging from Research & Development, Applications Development, and for the last 14 years in Marketing and Business Development, and Management roles. Prior to joining Gelest in 2018, David spent over 15 years in specialty polymers and also many years in polyurethanes. David holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Polymer Science from the University of Akron and an Executive MBA from Villanova University.
Craig Smith
VP/General Manager, Life Science
Craig is currently in his 17th year at Gelest, having served in many leadership roles for the company, most recently as VP & GM, Medical Devices. He is responsible for the Life Science segments of Gelest’s overall business. Prior to Gelest, he spent 16 years in various commercial and technical roles in the silicon products and catalyst businesses of the German Industrial Chemical manufacturer Evonik. Craig is an alum of the University of Delaware School of Chemistry and Columbia University School of Business.
