    • Gelest®OE 50: 1.50 Refractive Index Silicone Elastomer

    Gelest OE 50 is a flexible, optically clear molding, encapsulation, and coating compound with a RI of 1.49. The higher refractive index of PP2-OE50 can act as cladding in optical waveguide applications. The low viscosity of the platinum catalyzed mix, long pot-life at room temperature, and moderate cure temperature make this extremely useful in laboratory, prototype, and small scale production run applications.
